Warsaw, Poland, January 29, 2026 – Independent developer and publisher Cherrypick Games is thrilled to announce Signal Station, a tense, tactile sci-fi thriller coming to PC in 2026.
In Signal Station, you are the operator of a remote listening station who intercepts the first confirmed alien signal. Using authentic 1980s analog equipment, you must decode the message while managing survival, sabotage, and competing factions who all want to control what humanity hears. The game subverts traditional alien invasion tropes, focusing on the mounting psychological pressure and the realization that the real danger isn’t from space – it’s human.
“We wanted to take the concept of first contact and make it feel grounded, mechanical, and incredibly high-stakes,” said the lead developer. “In Signal Station, every flip of a switch and every turn of a dial matters. It’s a vision of the future as seen from the past, where the player’s ethical choices determine the fate of humanity’s first contact.”
