March 10th, 2026 – Originally designed as a way for players to vote for the games they want to see preserved and released DRM-free, the GOG Dreamlist has evolved into something larger: a living archive of gaming memories, wishes, and community storytelling. February alone brought over 630k new upvotes, alongside a wave of newly requested games and heartfelt stories from players explaining why these titles deserve to live forever.
The community’s most requested titles throughout February were a mix of beloved classics, legendary favorites, and modern hits that our community thinks just deserve to be preserved for the future. Among them, we have:
- Freelancer – currently at over 122k votes, it’s the all-time most dreamlisted game on our platform, continuing to hold its legendary status among fans.
- Silent Hill – holding an impressive number of nearly 118k votes, this revolutionary horror classic is still highly desired within the community.
- Final Fantasy X – while slowly reaching the 32k votes mark in the light of several Final Fantasy titles recently arriving on GOG, community members are rallying behind this iconic entry to show their support.
February alone generated 631,316 votes, and every single one of them signals clearly: players want their favorite games to remain accessible, preserved, and playable for future generations.
Each month also brings newly added titles that our community hopes to see one day either return, or take the place within the GOG catalog for the first time. Games that joined the GOG Dreamlist in February include:
- Super Bomberman Collection
- Metal Gear Solid Master Collection: Volume 2
- Diablo II: Resurrected – Infernal Edition
- Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition
- Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse
And with every new submission comes a story – because one of the most surprising developments of the Dreamlist is how it has become a space not only for voting, but for sharing memories as well. For the newly added Metal Gear Solid Master Collection entry, one of the community members shared:
”As a kid my dad and I would play through the whole series together, it’s how I introduced him to gaming. Because of that this series will always be legendary to me. Metal Gear Solid is a fantastic game that fills me with nostalgia. And especially where preservation is concerned it is a must have on the GOG platform.
With such a vibrant platform growing every month, people all around keep proving that the passion for game preservation and DRM-free gaming is stronger than ever.
