March 25, 2026, Nicosia, Cyprus – Publisher Digital Vortex Entertainment (part of Utmost Games) has announced a collaboration with indie developer Firevolt on Salvation Denied, a chaotic, comedic physics-based co-op building game. A time-limited open playtest is now available on Steam for one week, with the full release planned for Fall 2026 on PC via Steam and 2027 on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
In Salvation Denied, players work as a team of up to four construction robots, racing against the clock to build towering structures while battling the laws of physics and chaos on a hostile planet with extreme conditions. The taller the buildings grow, the more vulnerable they become to meteor showers and other threats, so players will have to juggle building, repairing and obstacles between their creations and oncoming danger.
Players operate massive construction machinery and gravity-bending gadgets to move materials, stabilize structures and reposition each other, allowing for all manner of messy slapstick antics. The game also features proximity voice chat, so players can hear each other based on their in-game distance and volume. In space, you CAN hear your friends scream.
