Aug 4, 2026 – Hooded Horse and Amplitude Studios are excited to announce the 1.0 launch date for their turn-based strategy game ENDLESS Legend 2! It leaves early access on PC on September 17, 2026. At the same time, the game will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, and will also be getting a physical release on PS5!
In the face of receding oceans and cataclysmic events, players must establish and develop a sprawling network of cities as they fight for dominance over an ever-shifting landscape. Raise formidable armies led by mighty heroes, each with their own unique attributes and skills, and uncover the secrets that lie at the heart of the world.
As the 1.0 release dawns, new factions will enter the fray in a bid to make their mark on the crumbling oceanic paradise:
The mysterious Sandshapers emerge as the game’s sixth major faction. As the oldest civilization to inhabit Saiadha, they remember a time before the planet was covered by water, and it’s their sacred duty to terraform the planet back to the desert world it once was. As with all major empires in ENDLESS Legend 2, the Sandshapers bring a new faction quest to tell their story, along with new units, heroes, technologies, and traits, which will be available in the Custom Faction creator.
Meanwhile, Rogue Factions enter the fray as a new spin on existing factions. While these splinter groups share much with their predecessors, they will have their own distinct faction quest, story, and gameplay. The first two planned are the Order of Zelevas, a conquest-focused variant of the Kin of Sheredyn, and The Severed Claw, a version of the Necrophage that can only replace its losses by enslaving other factions.
Finally, the Mangrove of Harmony is a new, starfish-like minor faction developed in conjunction with the Amplitude community, featuring its own hero and questline, alongside new villages, recruitable units, a new population, and two hero skills, among other things.
Anyone looking to try the game out can dive into the new and improved demo on Steam and consoles, which is back online from today and features the Kin of Sheredyn and The Last Lords as playable factions.The game will release into 1.0 on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store on September 17, 2026. It will also launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at the same time.
ENDLESS Legend II will also receive two physical editions on PlayStation 5, created in collaboration with physical publishing specialists Strictly Limited. Timelines will be confirmed at a later date, but pre-orders are available now through selected retail partners worldwide and the Strictly Limited store.
ENDLESS Legend 2 is currently available in early access for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store for $49.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 / ¥4,980.
