TOKYO, AUGUST 21, 2026 – Moomin’s next whimsical adventure brings a ray of sunshine before the end of this year. Developer Crossbridge Game Studios and publisher Shochiku Games welcome fans to begin their cozy journey in Moomin: Midsummer Madness on November 12, 2026 for $19.99 USD (€19.50) on PC and Nintendo Switch 1 and 2.
Moomin: Midsummer Madness will have a one-day demo playable at gamescom on the showfloor in Hall 10.1 at booth F63, on August 27 only. Attendees can go hands-on and meet the lovable Moomin mascot at the booth.
Inspired by Jansson’s 1954 fantasy novel Moominsummer Madness, players will embark on a new heartfelt journey with the Moomin family as Moominvalley is submerged by a great flood. Join Moomintroll and Little My aboard a mysterious floating theatre to help them find their way home through light point-and-click puzzles. Uncover the secrets of a mysterious floating theatre full of familiar faces in this charming, hand-painted adventure.
