SEATTLE — Sept. 14, 2026 — Drill Core, the roguelite mining strategy simulator from developer Hungry Couch and publisher tinyBuild, gifts miners with an Anniversary Update available now on PC via Steam, as revealed during today’s tinyBuild Connect.
Clock in as Drill Core Inc.’s new drill Platform Manager to lead miners, guards, and carriers through brutal expeditions. Peacefully extract vital resources during the day, deploy turrets at night in dangerous tower-defense gameplay. Research cutting-edge technologies to gain an upper hand, manage resources to overcome unexpected outcomes and mechanical adversaries while keeping one of three platform faction mates alive.
Face new challenges offering additional rewards and watch profits soar. Earn extra bounties and leverage a new Platform Building to receive sponsored company tasks. Drill Core Inc. strives to make mining as accessible as possible through a newly added Relaxed Mode for a slightly less intense work environment.
The anniversary update also features three new platform skins, an option to hire new specialists during a contract, and improved tutorials. The implementation of additional game speeds, statistics, and other quality-of-life improvements round out a successful quarter for platform managers.
