From Press Release:
Lesquin, France – October 1, 2026 – NACON and the Lyon-based development studio Artefacts Studio are proud to announce the worldwide release of MXGP 26, the official video game of the FIM Motocross World Championship. Entirely rebuilt over the last 2 years thanks to a new graphics engine and deep-rooted changes guided by player feedback, the title is available today on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
A TECHNOLOGICAL AND PHYSICAL REVOLUTION FOR THE FRANCHISE
MXGP 26 marks the beginning of a brand-new era for motocross simulation and delivers a major breakthrough thanks to the integration of cutting-edge technologies:
- The power of Unreal Engine 5: The game offers a striking photorealistic render. Official bikes, riders, and gear have been modeled down to the smallest detail, all targeting 60 frames per second for maximum visual comfort and responsiveness.
- “Dynamic Deformation”: The ground is no longer static. Lap after lap, the repeated passage of bikes digs persistent ruts that modify optimal racing lines in real time, forcing riders to constantly adapt their race strategy.
- An entirely redesigned riding physics system: Thanks to advanced weight transfer management and dynamic rider kinematics (where body movements adapt autonomously to impacts and loss of grip), the sensations of traction, acceleration, and jumping reach an unparalleled level of immersion, greatly enhanced by the striking helmet view.
100% OFFICIAL AND COMPLETE CONTENT

- The complete official 2026 season: 16 official bikes from the world’s leading manufacturers (KTM, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Husqvarna, GasGas, Triumph, Fantic, Beta) and star riders from the MXGP and MX2 categories (Romain Febvre, Jeffrey Herlings, Kay de Wolf…).
- Championship tracks: 19 international tracks faithfully reproduced, from the sands of Riola Sardo to the hard pack of Pietramurata, not to mention the volcanic soil of Bariloche.
- Game modes for everyone: Instant modes (Grand Prix, Time Attack), a complete Championship mode, online multiplayer for up to 10 players, as well as a multi-square-kilometer open-world training area: The Compound.
