The Wolf Among Us Remastered launches worldwide for PC and consoles today

From Press Release:

Las Vegas, NV (October 29, 2026) — Today, Telltale® and PM Studios® invite players back into the shadows of Fabletown with the worldwide digital launch of The Wolf Among Us Remastered. Licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of DC, this definitive edition brings new life, and a few new secrets, to one of gaming’s most celebrated narrative adventures. Available now for $24.99 USD on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation®5 and XBOX One (playable on XBOX Series X|S via backward compatibility), players can also take advantage with a limited-time 20% launch discount and savings of up to half off for eligible digital owners of the original game. Full details HERE.

Rebuilt for modern platforms, The Wolf Among Us Remastered welcomes longtime fans back to Fabletown while inviting newcomers to discover the first season of the series. Based on DC’s acclaimed FABLES comic book series, the game follows a grisly murder investigation that uncovers a far darker mystery lurking beneath the surface.

Set against the gritty, neon-soaked streets of 1980s New York City, players step into the shoes of Bigby Wolf, Sheriff of Fabletown, tasked with keeping a hidden community of fairy-tale characters from being exposed to the outside world. But in a city where appearances deceive and everyone has something to hide, Bigby’s investigation spirals into a dangerous mystery where trust is fragile, loyalties are tested and every decision comes at a cost.

For the first time, Telltale and PM Studios are confirming that defining choices made in The Wolf Among Us Remastered will carry forward into the highly anticipated The Wolf Among Us 2, continuing the story shaped by the decisions players make today. Players who sign in to their Telltale Account while playing Remastered can carry those defining choices into the next season of Bigby’s story. Those who prefer to jump straight into The Wolf Among Us 2 can establish their past choices at the start of the game, with no previous playthrough required.  However you lived it, The Wolf Among Us 2 will remember.

For those who know the Big Bad Wolf, there’s more to discover than they remember. And for those meeting him for the very first time, there’s never been a better opportunity to discover why his story has captivated players for more than a decade. Every corner of Bigby’s world has been revisited, with enhanced environments, improved character fidelity, upgraded lighting, refined animations and remastered audio that bring renewed atmosphere and intensity to the original experience. Co-developed with Trick Studios, the remaster team took meticulous care in updating Fabletown, approaching it like a new game while honoring and maintaining the aspects fans loved about the iconic 2013 release.

The enhancements go well beyond the visuals. Players can uncover five fully playable Deleted Scenes, restored from the original episodes that never made the final release, now accessible as special features. An optional Noir Mode allows players to experience the adventure in cinematic black and white, offering a striking new perspective on Fabletown’s neon-noir world. Fans can also explore an extensive gallery featuring more than 100 pieces of artwork and enjoy over an hour of exclusive developer interviews, offering a deeper look at the creative process and vision that brought Fabletown to life. All five original episodes – Faith, Smoke and Mirrors, A Crooked Mile, In Sheep’s Clothing and Cry Wolf – are included, delivering the complete mystery in one definitive experience.

“Telltale helped pioneer a new era of interactive storytelling, and The Wolf Among Us remains one of the games that defined that legacy,” said Jamie Ottilie, CEO of Telltale. “This launch celebrates Telltale’s history, the incredible loyalty of our community, and our continued commitment to creating memorable experiences for generations to come.”

“We are incredibly proud to partner with Telltale in celebrating this iconic franchise,” said Michael Yum, CEO of PM Studios. “We believe games of this caliber deserve to be experienced, celebrated, owned, collected and preserved for generations. Bringing The Wolf Among Us Remastered to physical release in Q1 2027 reflects our commitment and dedication to delivering something truly special for players to hold onto.”

The Wolf Among Us Remastered is available digitally today for $24.99 USD for PC via Steam (including Steam Deck) and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation®5 and XBOX One (playable on XBOX Series X|S via backward compatibility). The Nintendo Switch versions will follow at a later date. Physical editions are planned for release on multiple platforms in early 2027.

Players can take advantage of a limited-time 20% launch discount from October 29 through November 12, 2026, while eligible digital owners of the original game can enjoy savings of up to half off during the same promotional period. The returning-owner offer applies to qualifying digital purchases on the same platform and account. Discounts are subject to platform-specific eligibility and availability; on PlayStation, the 20% launch discount is available exclusively to PlayStation Plus members. Promotional offers are not combinable. See specifics here.
