16th September 2025 —MicroProse is excited to announce that Dying Breed, the golden-age RTS revival packed with adrenaline-fueled combat and retro flair, will officially release on October 7th, 2025.
A love letter to the first generation of real-time strategy games, Dying Breed combines fast-paced base-building, ruthless battles, FMV live-action cutscenes, and a thundering electro-metal soundtrack straight from the ‘90s. Players will command the battlefield against zombies, rival factions, and retro-futuristic technologies in an all-out fight for humanity’s survival.
“Dying Breed is designed to bring back the pulse of the classic RTS era — but with sharper edges, crazier enemies, and a soundtrack that never lets up,” said the development team. “It’s a tribute to the games we grew up with, but also a beast of its own.”
