17 SEPTEMBER 2025 – The subterranean nation of Avernum is calling once more. On October 22nd, 2025, indie RPG veterans Spiderweb Software will release Avernum 4: Greed and Glory, a full-scale remake of their 2005 cult classic for Windows and Mac (iPad coming soon after).
This isn’t just a remaster. Greed and Glory has been rebuilt from the ground up in a brand-new engine, with overhauled visuals, new questlines and sprawling new dungeons to explore – offering both longtime fans and newcomers a revitalised journey through the vast underground nation of Avernum.
Kept alive by the courage and magic of its inhabitants, Avernum stretches through many hundreds of miles of winding caverns.
