From Press Release:
Chicago, United States – Thursday, May 7th – Stellar Jockeys, the acclaimed developer behind the beloved mech shooter Brigador: Up-Armored Edition, has today reintroduced its boots-on-the-ground follow-up, Brigador Killers, with a brand-new gameplay demo, highlighting the evolving vision for the upcoming insurgency simulator.
Originally released in 2016, Brigador: Up-Armored Edition earned a dedicated following for its isometric, fully destructible cityscapes, deep vehicle customization, and punishing tactical combat, paired with dense worldbuilding and an acclaimed original soundtrack. The upcoming Brigador Killers builds on that foundation as an isometric insurgent simulator inspired by Syndicate and Crusader: No Remorse, expanding into a broader, more flexible sandbox that blends on-foot action with vehicular combat and deeper systemic gameplay, where players assemble a private arsenal, deploy on high-risk missions, and bring the war home to the businessmen who started it all.
The new demo drops players into the occupied world of Mar Nosso as part of Team Anchor, operating behind enemy lines to disrupt and dismantle entrenched corporate power.
Available now, the demo gives players hands-on access to two distinct campaigns:
- OBSTACLE 1 — a tightly directed six-mission introductory campaign designed to teach core systems, featuring short narrative beats and an explosive opening and finale. Playtime is approximately 15 minutes.
- THE GARAGE — a semi-sandbox campaign with no fixed narrative, where players build out a base, assemble a private arsenal, and take on missions on foot or in vehicles. Dynamic mission elements, including shifting layouts, enemy encounters, and equipment drops, offer high replayability and extended play sessions.
The demo reflects the current public build and will continue to evolve over time. A more substantial update is planned ahead of Steam Next Fest in June, expanding and converging the campaign experience while extending the game’s narrative.
Players can download the demo now on Steam, and wishlist Brigador Killers on Steam.
