Motor Vehicle Accident Expansion announced for Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, coming next month alongside a FREE Update

From Press Release:

Düsseldorf, June 25, 2026 – astragon and weltenbauer. today announced the most extensive DLC to date for Firefighting Simulator: Ignite. The Motor Vehicle Accident Expansion adds a wide range of new gameplay content and will be released on July 21, 2026. At the same time, a free update will be available.

The Motor Vehicle Accident Expansion expands the firefighting simulation with new content focused on traffic accidents and how to handle them — including new missions, new gameplay mechanics, new tools, and more. This new area of responsibility requires the use of new techniques, such as rescuing people from vehicles, sawing, and sealing leaks to prevent operating fluids from spilling further.

Also launching on July 21 is the free Shannondale Update, named after a new district featuring a regional airport, a large industrial area, and the Oakridge City power plant. The free update includes five new missions, among other content. In addition, it contains one brand-new Motor Vehicle Accident main mission to offer a sneak peek of the content.

The Motor Vehicle Accident Expansion and the free Shannondale Update will be available from July 21, 2026. The expansion will be priced at 14.99€ / $14,99 / £12,99 (SRP). It is also included in the Year 1 Season Pass, which is part of the game’s Year 1 Edition.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is available for PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Firefighting Simulator: Ignite – Year 1 Edition can be purchased for PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. This Edition includes the base game, the Fire Station Companion Pack and the Year 1 Season Pass.
