Fast-paced arcade adventure Freefall ’95 introduces Endless Mode in Update 1.1

From Press Release:

Melbourne, Australia, July 9th, 2026 –  Indie developer S-Bend Games is excited to announce an update for their debut game, Freefall ‘95. These changes are aimed at making the experience more approachable for newcomers, and introduces an all-new endless game mode. Play as a sole survivor of a mid-air disaster, plummeting towards Earth through a variety of levels, from clear, blue skies to stormy mountains, erupting volcanoes, and more.

To celebrate the game’s successful crash-landing onto Steam and over 96% positive rating, the team has prepared an accolades trailer. Watch it below!

Endless Fall!
Visit the Hypnotist to experience a brand new game mode. On your next run, as you approach the ground, you’ll see something new appear in the sky: a wormhole! Don’t be alarmed though, just fall into it to avoid the cold hard ground below, and enter into an endless fall that will keep your run going on the same level. As you progress through an infinite number of stages, the difficulty will continue to ramp up while increasing your score multiplier, allowing for brain tickling highscores. Purest Hell +++++ awaits!

The New Update
The new patch for Freefall ‘95 includes a range of quality-of-life fixes such as larger action zones for tricks, lower max spin speed for debris, more grabbable items in the starting area, and stronger tutorials to help you learn some special tricks right from the start. The developers have also squashed a few bugs, particularly in relation to players sticking to walls (sorry, you aren’t Spider-Man), and updated the text and overall game formatting to be a bit more readable. Rounding out the update is a clearer quest interface, adjustments to the goals in level one, and even a new falling object for more tricked-out fun.

Game Features
  • 5 sprawling levels reimagined across 3 difficulty tiers, 15 stages in all, devolving into bullet hell mania
  • Dozens of arcade-style Challenge Levels for bite-sized, score-attack runs
  • Roguelike Gauntlets: chain 3, 5, or 7 levels back-to-back on a single health bar, picking from 3-reward drafts as you hit milestones

  • Arcade-like leaderboard with friends-only and worldwide options to keep it competitive and fun.
  • A rich, time-bending narrative that will keep your brain wracking for answers.
