ALKMAAR, NETHERLANDS — 17 July – BlackMill Games has announced that Gallipoli, the latest instalment in the acclaimed WW1 Game Series, will now launch on August 20th for PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X|S with full crossplay. The game will be available for €29.99 / $29.99 / £24.99 with a 25% launch discount.
Following the delayed launch, BlackMill Games has moved the release of Gallipoli to August 20th, allowing additional time for final improvements and to ensure the game is ready for all players on day one.
Inspired by the historic Gallipoli campaign and the legacy of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, Gallipoli takes players to the Ottoman Fronts of the First World War, where British Empire and Ottoman forces clash in intense 25v25 squad-based battles across beaches, towns, and deserts.
Players can choose from 10 historically inspired classes, taking on roles such as Officer, Heavy Machine Gunner, Sniper, or Stretcher Bearer, with each class playing a vital role in supporting their squad. Lay down suppressive fire, coordinate attacks, and adapt to the chaos of battle with realistic weapon handling, deliberate reloads, and a suppression system designed to capture the intensity of combat on the front lines.
Featuring over 50 authentic weapons and equipment options from the British and Ottoman arsenals, Gallipoli recreates the brutal conditions of the campaign, from dangerous beach landings to the gruelling expeditions across the deserts of Lower Mesopotamia.
