Tank free-to-play shooter Tyr drops launch trailer as it enters Steam Early Access

Tyr’s oldest playtesters have been with the game for more than three years, meaning the game launches with an established and growing community ready to welcome new players to the fold on day one.

Tyr is a free-to-play multiplayer tank shooter where positioning, strategic decision-making, and mastery of unique abilities are the key to victory. There’s a roster of armored vehicles for you to choose from, each with their own armor profiles and special abilities, from cloaking tech, to sonar pulses, to launchable drones. Your choice of tank can help define the role you take on for your team: focus on the vital task of spotting enemies with a mobile light tank, snipe from distance with a deadly-but-vulnerable damage dealer, or rumble into close engagements and brawls with a heavy tank.

Upgrade and evolve each tank to suit your playstyle with individual tech trees, ammo slots, and component upgrades.
