The four new story maps take players straight into the story of Aldramar and offer more than 15 hours of gameplay. Brave pioneers follow the legacy of a lost civilization and, step by step, uncover monumental structures that are gradually restored using marble, a new and precious resource. However, the new desert landscape doesn’t make things easy: dunes and quicksand present challenging terrain, water is scarce, fertile soil is rare, and some paths are initially blocked. Players can, however, transform parts of the desert back into fertile land, dynamically changing the gameplay.

The ancient structures are guarded by colossal stone warriors that have run amok. Players can either face them in battle or outmaneuver their patrols with clever planning. Mysterious obelisks can be activated using magical keystones, gradually bringing the landscape back to life, while altars grant additional combat boosts, and a new final boss awaits at the end of the campaign. Using the new “Out-of-Territory Construction” feature, expedition workers also allow players to build or restore pre-placed landmarks such as monuments, statues, and obelisks outside their own territory. Successfully rebuilding the island requires careful resource management and a forward-thinking strategy that adapts to the changing landscape.

This is Pioneers of Pagonia – Echoes of Aldramar:

  • New story campaign with four maps
