Custom quests, balancing, and much more in the new “Quality of Life” update for Pioneers of Pagonia

From Press Release:

Pioneers of Pagonia now offers players complete freedom to shape their own adventures. With the eighth, free Quality of Life update, in addition to general improvements, the Pagonia Editor has been significantly expanded, allowing players to create their own in-game content across maps and adjust the balancing of units and buildings as they wish. This gives the community the opportunity to shape their experience on the picturesque islands of Pagonia exactly as they wish.

Whether it’s creating your own objectives and quests with dialogues, new characters, or custom triggers for events in your own story, players can really let their creativity run wild in the improved Pagonia Editor. You can even tweak key balancing aspects, such as the number of workers required per building, the strength of your own and enemy units, and the costs of farms, production buildings, and military buildings. And if the Pagonians start running low due to the occasional werewolf plague, you can even adjust the birth rate.

Changes made in the Pagonia Editor can be saved either in the maps you create or directly in the game files. Changes to the game can therefore have a global effect, ensuring that the desired content shines on every map in Pioneers of Pagonia.

This year, additional modding support and the second DLC, Pioneers of Pagonia – Echoes of Aldramar, are among the things planned for the third quarter.

The development of Pioneers of Pagonia was financially supported by the German games fund grant by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space. To stay up to date on Pioneers of Pagonia, be sure to follow on Facebook, Instagram, join Discord or visit the official website.
