Vienna, Austria / Helsinki, Finland, October 15th, 2026: Hold on tight, it’s time to go upside down! Update #9 for Wreckfest 2 is now available, and among its many highlights, one towers above the rest: the monstrous double loop of the brand-new Deathloop 2 track, delivering a whole new crashing experience. Can you tame this beast?
If you prefer to keep all four wheels on the ground, the second layout, Double Cross, skips the loops and instead serves up spectacular intersections and banked corners.
The county fair is in town too! Derby Arena is a muddy slaughterhouse for cars and THE place to get dirty in Wreckfest 2. Its second layout, Oval, delivers tight, full-contact racing.
But Update #9 isn’t just about new tracks. One of the community’s most requested features is finally live: Crap It™ Paint Sharing. Players can now share their own creations from Wreckfest 2’s extensive car painting tool and find other players’ designs within seconds to get the perfect – or imperfect – look for their ride.
Three new cars also join the roster, two of them fan favorites from the first Wreckfest. Take them for a spin in six brand-new challenges, or anywhere else, of course. And for even more crazy racing action, Update #9 adds two new game modes: Demolition Derby is all about smashing your opponents until only one car is left standing. Chase, on the other hand, isn’t just a race, it’s a hunt! One lonely little rabbit tries to escape the rest of the pack and make it to the finish line.

Fully revamped game modes
Launching into early access with the base game modes of Racing, Derby and multiplayer mode. During the Early Access phase, we will add a completely revamped career mode that adapts to your individual playstyle and guides you on your journey to become a true champion! For online racers there will be new skill-based matchmaking system and server queues coming as well!
Challenges
Another highlight during the Early Access phase will be special challenges, putting you behind the steering wheel of unconventional vehicles that were definitely never supposed to end up on a racetrack! Various bite-sized scenarios will keep you hooked as you battle for the highest scores.
Mod Support
During the Early Access phase, mod support will be added so you can really mess with this game by installing various mods from the Steam Workshop.
