Battlefield 3 tease
The behemoth is back. Just a day after the announcement that Battlefield 1943 and Battlefield Bad Company 2’s DLC: Onslaught were both cancelled for PC, DICE and GameInformer revealed the cover to the magazine and a teaser trailer for BATTLEFIELD 3:

The game will also release in ALL platforms for the first time in the “traditional Battlefield” series:
Known Features for Battlefield 3:
- Battlefield 3 is the true successor to Battlefield 2.
- Signature multiplayer AND a full single-player campaign and even a co-op campaign – all straight out of the box.
- Return of jets, prone, and 64-player multiplayer (on PC)
- Built on the new game engine: Frostbite 2
As a long-time Battlefield fan (the only one I haven’t played was the original Battlefield: Vietnam), this is HUGE. I play Bad Company 2 still, but having a true Battlefield sequel to play will be breathtaking. News-bits also hint that you can be knocked down by explosions. I can’t wait until we see official gameplay trailers, I bet we’ll be BLOWN away!
