DayZ standalone game being developed by Bohemia Interactive, Mod Dev is Project Lead

Bohemia Interactive confirms that the highly successful ArmA2 mod Day Z is now being developed as a standalone PC exclusive title. A brief announcement has been posted by Dean Hall, lead developer of the project on his tumblr: http://dayzdev.tumblr.com 

For anyone wishing to meet with Dean Hall during Gamescom to discuss this news and any other DayZ/Arma3/Bohemia topics there are a limited amount of meeting slots available, if you haven’t made contact for a booking please do so as soon as possible.
