Sanctum becomes a part of Steam’s ‘Midweek Madness’ with 75% Off Sale and Free DLC

Developer Coffee Stain Studios is proud to debut a new map titled Whirlpool that is part of the free ‘Tiger Hawkins’ downloadable content (DLC) drop now available for Sanctum. Whirlpool was created by one of Sanctum’s most loyal fans, Tiger Hawkins, who won a competition to have his own designed map included within the game via DLC. Comprised of an intricate maze design, Whirlpool is a complex map to master as it challenges players to employ all of their skills to overcome the odds.

In addition to the new free DLC, Sanctum is being sold for 75 percent off on all content (including DLC) during Steam’s “Midweek Madness” from January 15-17.

Sanctum is a fresh take on the tower-defense genre and places the player right into the frenetic fray with tight first-person shooter gameplay mechanics. Gamers take the role as Skye, an elite soldier sent out to protect her home town, Elysion One, from hordes of mysterious alien creatures. To successfully defend her land, she must construct and upgrade a labyrinth of defensive structures and towers. When the havoc starts and the wave of baddies is unleashed, Skye must jump right into the action with her own fully-upgradeable weapons and play a key role in the defense. Sanctum has taken the best features from first-person shooters and tower defense games to create something totally unique.
