Dread Nautical cruises onto Steam on October 27th for the first time, available now on other platforms

From Press Release:

Steam players will soon be able to experience a vacation from hell, as Zen Studios’ readies Dread Nautical for release on Steam in time for Halloween 2020. A tactical turn-based RPG with roguelike elements, Dread Nautical combines immersive strategic gameplay with a cartoonish – yet captivatingly eerie – tone.

Supernatural forces have overwhelmed a cruise liner known as the Hope with mysterious malevolent monstrosities out to wipe out anything in their path. After players have chosen to play as one of four unique characters, they’ll use intuitive touchscreen controls to traverse 20 randomly generated decks of the ship, seeking food and other supplies. Along the way, they’ll encounter 11 other colorful survivors, who may join the fight themselves based on what the player character chooses to say. Properly planning which companions to bring, how they attack, and what to upgrade are the keys to escaping this “vacation” alive.

Players can wish list the game on Steam:

Dread Nautical is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Epic Game Store, Nintendo Switch and Apple Arcade.
