Episode: REFUGE is the second FREE DLC update for Citizen Sleeper – launching on October 27

September 22, 2022 – Today narrative games publisher Fellow Traveller and developer Jump Over the Age have announced Episode: REFUGE, the second free DLC episode for Citizen Sleeper, will be released on October 27.
Following the events in the first DLC update, Episode: FLUX, this new episode expands upon the story of the refugee flotilla, and the wider narrative of the Helion System, the star system in which the Eye orbits.
In Episode: FLUX, the first ships from a refugee flotilla arrived at Erlin’s Eye in response to pressures in the Helion system. Now, in Episode: REFUGE, a strange event sends ripples through the communities of the Eye. Players will have to enter the flotilla to understand this new threat and help the refugees stabilize their community.
Episode: REFUGE also introduces Sol, captain of the Pilgrim Seed, the biggest ship in the refugee flotilla. Hailing from Ember’s Hearth, the largest moon of the gas giant Ember, he is a quiet pragmatist forced into the position of political leader.
Episode: REFUGE will be available for FREE across all platforms, to anyone who owns or or has access to Citizen Sleeper.
Episode: FLUX is out now. Episode: REFUGE will be released on October 27th, whilst the third and final episode will arrive in early 2023. View the roadmap below.
Citizen Sleeper is available now for Nintendo Switch, Steam, GOG, Epic, Humble, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and is also playable on Xbox Game Pass.
Since its May 2022 release, Citizen Sleeper has received enormous praise for its engaging narrative, deeply enriching roleplaying experience, and stunning world-building, and has been favorably compared to games with significantly larger teams and budgets – an especially significant achievement considering Jump Over The Age is a one-person studio.
Citizen Sleeper has a 95% ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ rating on Steam, a ‘Mighty’ Open Critic award, and has been namechecked in many Game of the Year lists amongst AAA giants such as Elden Ring.
Citizen Sleeper is also one of the latest releases in the Fellow Traveller Publisher Sale on Steam, where fans will be able to pick it up with a 20% discount from today until September 25.
