Indie developer studio Element Studios (creators of the hugely popular Elemental TD 2) continue to expand their RTS portfolio and have announced their new title Axon TD Uprising today. The mix of RTS and creative tower defence is launching into Steam Early Access Q3 of this year!
About the game:
Axon TD Uprising combines a fully fledged story-based campaign mode, a dynamic cooperative competitive mode for up to 4 players, an alternative roguelike survival mode, transformative battlefields with endless variations and exhilarating down-to-the-wire survival gameplay. The name of the game is map manipulation that lets you customise path’s in the game. The battleground is your blank canvas!
In the main campaign, you’re a defence contractor on a simple routine mission, but unfortunately as you arrive, your ship is shot down and you’re attacked by a robotic force called the Axons. Your only way off the planet is to fight. Build towers against hordes of enemies, progress through a perk upgrade tree, and defeat epic bosses! You may even find out the truth behind the ongoing war…
