Today, Paradox Interactive and Triumph released a free content update for Age of Wonders 4, the latest installment of the award-winning Age of Wonders fantasy strategy game series, in celebration of the game’s first launch anniversary. Paradox and Triumph also gave players a look at the game’s road ahead in a developer blog post.
The free update, available now for all platforms, features:
- An adoptable Dire Penguin plushie! Watch the video on the Dire Penguin here.
- Standard and exotic Raptor mounts.
- A Dragon Scale interface skin.
The developer blog post looks back on the franchise’s 25-year history and discusses what the future holds for Age of Wonders 4. Highlights include:
- Development for additional Age of Wonders 4 free updates and premium content is in the works.
- The next major expansion for the game, Eldritch Realms, launches in June 2024!
Alongside the blog post, Paradox and Triumph released an infographic that details the types of choices and experiences the Age of Wonders 4 player base has had since the game’s launch.
