Paris, France, May 28th – Firesquid and Abbey Games are thrilled to announce that Reus 2, the sequel of the beloved god-like game Reus, is now available for PC via Steam for $24.99/24.50€/£20.99.
To celebrate the release, players have the option to purchase one of three bundles: a complete Reus bundle, a Mighty Creature bundle, and a Supporter Edition. All bundles have an additional 10% discount applied for 7 days.
In Reus 2, players control giant godlike creatures with their associated biomes (taiga, rainforest, ocean, etc), shaping planets and setting human aspirations at their own pace, without a timer. Their actions will guide and inspire humanity: leaders, inventions, buildings, choices of development, and more will depend on the players’ nature. Players will have the opportunity to do civilizational experiments by creating various planets for different human spirits, filling the universe with life!
Reus 2 offers strategic planning and replayability with diverse ecosystems and organisms. Players will use a combination of 3 giants to terraform a variety of biomes, and strategically build up different combinations of flora, fauna and materials specific to those environments. By experimenting, discover which combinations create the best synergies for the inhabitants’ needs and goals, leading them into exciting new eras of their existence. Studio Abbey Games is using its long-time expertise with the god game genre (Reus, Godhood) to polish this sequel and take the genre forward.
The game is localized in English for now, additional languages will follow after the release.
Players can now can buy the game on Steam for PC and can purchase one of three bundles: a Reus Bundle, containing Reus and Reus 2, the Mighty Creatures bundle, which includes Reus 2 and The Wandering Village, as well as visuals, and a Supporter Edition including Reus 2, the soundtrack, glowing eyes for giants (in game cosmetic) emojis, profile pictures and wallpapers.
