Strasbourg, France – October 24th, 2024 – Embers and Oro Interactive are excited to announce the spookiest update yet for Murky Divers with a limited-time Halloween event launching on October 24th! The underwater adventure just got scarier as divers gear up for new horrors lurking in the ocean.
Halloween Theme
For the Halloween event, Murky Divers brings a classic Halloween vibe that’s both spooky and nostalgic, capturing the charm of those classic Steam events. The underwater world is transformed to bring the players the familiar mix of scary and whimsical, much like the classic Halloween updates in games like Team Fortress 2.
Uncover the Secrets of Atlantis
Players can now take the plunge into the Lost City of Atlantis—a mysterious underwater metropolis hidden in darkness. But this discovery comes with its own set of dangers. As divers navigate the sunken ruins, they’ll encounter terrifying new deep-sea creatures and uncover long-buried secrets that are better left undisturbed.
New Gear and Endless Depth Mode
To help you survive the dangers of the deep, the vending machine will be stocked with brand-new gear. And for those seeking an even greater challenge, Endless Depth Mode is here—dive into the abyss with no ocean floor in sight and face increasing dangers the deeper you go.
Building on Recent Updates
The Halloween update is the final chapter in the 3-part update series leading up to Halloween. Previous updates included additions such as improved onboarding, submarine sizes, new creatures, new diving suits, and more diving locations.
