Hoxxes Halloween 2024 event for Deep Rock Galactic is now live

From Press Release:
Hoxxes IV is getting ready for All Hallow’s Eve, and to celebrate the spookiest night of the season, Deep Rock Galactic is conjuring up all sorts of wicked work to do. Starting from today and running until 7th November, miners can experience the haunting of Hoxxes IV, diving into alarming assignments packed with plenty of wretched rewards.
Headlining these hellish additions is a treat found at the end of this year’s Halloween special assignment, in the form of a brand new piece of Halloween headgear. A double mission performance point bonus also awaits, for dwarves who manage to succeed at the bone-chilling and bone-killing task of shooting down cackling skulls within the mines. To get further into the spirit, Management has decked out the Space Rig with ghosts, pumpkins, bats and more.
Halloween 2024 Key Information
- Be-Were of brand new headgear
- Get into the spirit of the spooky season with a brand new Halloween special assignment. Upon completion, players will unlock a brand new Creeper Wolf Mask headgear, to be worn with caution around the full moon. For those who were too terrified to complete the treacherous assignments and claim the spoils of past Halloween events, the “Last Year’s Horrors” assignment is also available.

- A performance point problem for tomb-orrow
- Despite repeated requests from management to not summon beings from the spectral realm, a number of cackling skulls have been seen flying throughout the caves. Management is kindly requesting that employees fix this problem expeditiously, by going into the mines and shooting them down. As thanks for the effort, miners who fulfil this quota will be rewarded with a double mission performance point bonus.

- Say no to Smashing Pumpkins
- Finally, bringing some spooky flair to the affair, Management has managed to scrounge up some spare budget to decorate the Space Rig. Included in this dazzling lineup of decor are a number of candles, ghosts and bats. In this bid to “improve morale”, dwarves are reminded that the pumpkins in the Space Rig are for looking only, and definitely not to be kicked around.
