First part of the 2025 Roadmap for turn-based space strategy game Breachway revealed

December 18, 2024 – Hooded Horse and Edgeflow Studios are pleased to share the next phase of development for turn-based space strategy game, Breachway. Since its launch into early access in September 2024, the dev team has been hard at work listening to player feedback, introducing new content, and improving the game’s core loop, releasing 12 patches to date.
Now they’re ready to look ahead to the next phase of early access – check out the first part of the planned 2025 roadmap:
In no particular order, highlights include introducing a third sector, overhauling the Starmap with improved map generation and player interactions, as well as enhancing the moment-to-moment excitement as players traverse the galaxy.
Other items on the roadmap include, but are not limited to:
- Better AI faction interaction, including more granular faction relations and faction events
- Environmental effects with implications in tactical battles, such as asteroid fields and ion storms
- Another playable ship, as well as more ship variants
- Crew levels and progression
- Plenty of other new content in the form of enemy models, cards, items, weapon
- Enhanced UI
- And more!
2025 will kick off with the next major update, due in January, which focuses on improved meta-progression – more details on that soon!
Breachway is available in early access for PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store for $19.99 / £17.99 / €19.99 / ¥2,480.00.
