After eleven years of development, Tavern Keeper is opening its doors to Steam Early Access on November 3rd

Brisbane, Australia – October 10th, 2025 – Greenheart Games has revealed that their fantasy business management sim, Tavern Keeper , will be launching on Steam in Early Access on November 3rd. To celebrate the news, a brand new story-trailer is available to showcase a glimpse of what players can expect.

A newly updated Demo is also now available ahead of October’s Next Fest event, offering players an untimed introduction to tavern keeping. In addition to showcasing the game’s interactive storytelling, players can get creative in a preview of the Item Workshop and have fun in a Freeplay mode.

“After 11 years we’re ready to open the doors to our follow-up to Game Dev Tycoon. Our hybrid management sim, witty RPG and decoration sandbox game Tavern Keeper, will launch into Early Access in November”, says Patrick Klug, Director and Co-Founder of Greenheart Games . “It’s been a long journey, and we’re thrilled that players can soon experience what we’ve been crafting for them over so many years.”

Tavern Keeper  is a chaotic and cosy blend of business management sim, creative decoration sandbox, and magical storybook. Players manage their own tavern in a humorous fantasy world, with the freedom to micromanage every detail or simply relax and decorate to their heart’s content.
