From Press Release:
Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany / Vienna, Austria – November 20th, 2025: The mountains remember. High above the valleys, where the ruins of an ancient fortress crumble beneath drifting clouds, echoes of forgotten ages linger in the stone. Tread carefully. Shortlings lurk in the shadows, waiting for anyone bold enough to step into their domain, and rumor has it a warrior far more ruthless and powerful has also made camp within the ruins.
After unveiling Fatekeeper during THQ Nordic’s Showcase in August 2025, the development team Paraglacial, only 12 passionate people by the way, has forged ahead to reveal a deeper glimpse into the world they are crafting. Their newest showcase is an uncut eight-minute adventure that plunges players straight into the heart of the game. Expect savage, weighty combat, the first stirrings of story threads yet to be unraveled, and an early look at how exploration, gear, and discovery intertwine.
The preview also sheds light on the Druid, the hero players will embody. Adept with blades, axes, and all kinds of melee weapons alike, yet equally attuned to raw elemental power, the Druid can be shaped to fit each player’s preferred style. Whether you forge a close-quarters brawler who dominates through sheer force or a spell-focused mystic who commands the elements from a distance, the Druid’s path is entirely in your hands.
Fatekeeper is developed by Paraglacial and published by THQ Nordic. The game will launch on PC – Early Access starts in 2026.
