Tønsberg, Norway – December 12th, 2025 — Solo developer Jardar Solli is thrilled to announce that the free Castle Update for his pirate RPG Seablip is available now on Steam. This update is the biggest content addition to Seablip’s Early Access, introducing a brand-new gameplay mode centered on building and defending the player’s own castle, as well as attacking massive enemy fortifications across the seven seas.
Key features of the Castle Update:
- Build your fortress: Utilize 139 unique castle parts to design and fortify your island, and prepare to defend against enemy sieges
- Conquer enemy forts: Attack 35 massive enemy castles belonging to six factions, each featuring unique design and challenge
- Select a companion: Choose one pirate companion who will now follow you on land adventures and assist you on your home island
- Upgrade Equipment: Discover new cannons and equipment for both your ship and castle
- Fully Rebalanced Gameplay: Jump into a game with new enemy AI, skills, and systems, ensuring a more dynamic and challenging experience
- Gain New Achievements: Test your mastery with an array of new Steam Achievements
The castle feature expands the world of Seablip, challenging players to build a permanent fortress and master large-scale land defense and offense against their rivals. The developer has also implemented substantial quality-of-life changes, including a dedicated crew management menu for castle guards, improved crafting UIs, and a more challenging, yet consistent, overall game experience.
