Keen vampire aficionados and/or card-driven BLOBBER fans can also sink their teeth into a new video series, “Let’s Explore Vampire Crawlers”, out today. This new bite-sized gameplay series reveals even more about the features and gameplay of Vampire Crawlers. The first episode is out now, with more to be released in the coming weeks!
Let’s Explore Vampire Crawlers – Episode One
In the first video, the poncle team dives into the two key mechanics central to the Vampire Crawlers experience:
- The Turboturn™! – Turn-based combat without the wait. In Vampire Crawlers, you don’t have to pause for animations to complete before triggering your next move. The game intelligently stacks and executes your ability inputs with precision, allowing you to play at your own chaotic pace. It turns tactical combat into a fast, engaging, and visually rewarding experience.
- Card Customisation! – Discover endless ways to play your cards. Gems allow you to customize your cards with a variety of effects, ranging from raw damage multipliers to full Weapon Evolutions. Whether you want a simple power boost or deep strategic planning, Gems give every player the tools to create game-breaking combos.

About poncle
poncle is a small game dev studio founded by Luca Galante, based in London. After cutting his teeth (fangs?) on a series of HTML5 projects, Luca developed Vampire Survivors as a pandemic pastime, hoping to improve his skills as a developer. The game was an unexpected smash hit and has gathered a massive cult following. Today poncle is a merry band of programmers, designers, artists and other game-making folks, working in dialogue with their community of players to make Vampire Survivors the best it can be. poncle has also started its own publishing arm, focusing on supporting devs who make great games and helping them get their games out into the world, such as Berserk or Die and Kill the Brickman.
