Currently available in Early Access, City 20 is a post-apocalyptic survival sandbox and life sim that blends open-ended gameplay with emergent storytelling. Set within a quarantined, off-the-map city once devoted to dangerous scientific experiments, play as a lone survivor navigating a fractured society shaped by disaster, where rival factions, mysterious phenomena, and the consequences of past experiments create a volatile and evolving world.
Scavenge, craft, and manage resources to survive harsh conditions. Meet the many characters who can help or hinder your survival. Your interactions matter, and your choices shape your relationships, as the friends (or enemies) you make can unlock opportunities or provoke conflict. A deeply interconnected simulation ensures that even small decisions ripple outward, affecting ecosystems, social dynamics, and the unfolding narrative.
The latest City 20 update, The Bunker Update (Version 0.9) introduces a large underground network of bunkers and tunnels filled with secrets, rare loot, and deeper lore, adding a darker and more intense exploration experience. To support this, a new GPS system improves navigation with a minimap and NPC tracking, while a redesigned dialogue wheel makes interactions smoother and more immersive. The update also rebalances loot and enemy behavior, pushing valuable rewards underground and increasing danger with stronger enemy presence, making exploration riskier but more rewarding overall.
City 20 is available on PC in Early Access for $19.99. The Bunker Update is now available for free to players who own the game on Steam and Epic Game Store.
