Die in the Dungeon, the turn-based roguelite with dice-based deckbuilding launches 1.0 on May 1st

From Press Release:

April 17, 2026 | HypeTrain Digital and ATICO are pleased to announce that Die in the Dungeon, a turn-based roguelite with dice-based deckbuilding mechanics, will leave Early Access and launch in version 1.0 on May 1. The game currently holds over 2,500 Steam reviews with a 92% Very Positive rating.

Die in the Dungeon replaces the traditional card-based deckbuilder loop with a more tactile system: your dice are your deck. Players build runs through dice synergies, relics, and spatial tactics — placing dice on the board to attack, defend, and set up powerful combos. Combat isn’t just about what you roll, but where and when you use it.

The full release brings a new playable hero, a new Parry-based playstyle, character progression, a new boss, a new difficulty option, an expanded Codex, and — finally — a real ending. The game also launches with full controller support and localization in 11 languages.

Key features:

  • Dice-building instead of card-building — the core deckbuilder loop reimagined with a more tactile and unusual system.

  • Board-based tactics — dice placement matters; combat is strategic, not just statistical.

  • Deep customization — change dice faces, improve their values, and add modifiers that completely shift their role in a build.

  • Wild synergy potential — dice, relics, and other systems combine to create builds that feel clever, explosive, and deeply personal.
