From Press Release:
Roboto Games, the studio behind Stormforge, has released its latest gameplay trailer and confirmed that the highly anticipated cel-shaded fantasy survival crafting game will launch into Early Access later this year. The trailer aired as part of the Second Wind Showcase, and can be watched here.
Stormforge is a cooperative survival experience that supports up to 8 players, and is set in a world overrun by magical storms. Each storm presents unique dangers such as: tornadoes that fling rocks, trees, and enemies into the air; dust storms that reduce visibility and damage the player.
The storms have unique mechanics that change how the game is played, and are brimming with powerful resources, but filled with deadly creatures. Players will fight, craft and survive as a warrior, mage, ranger or any combination of these with the ability to unlock character classes and unique skills and abilities.
Stormforge will have deep support for modding combined with procedural world generation, allowing survival crafting players to experience the genre in new and exciting ways. The title will allow explorers to easily play with a wide variety of equipment, enemies, points of interest, and game rules created directly by the community, all accessible without any separate downloads.
Stormforge can be wishlisted on Steam and is set for an Early Access launch in 2026. Players can learn more about the game by visiting its Discord or following the studio on X, Tik Tok, Instagram or Facebook.
About Roboto Games
Roboto Games is a small scrappy studio made up of plucky game industry vets who, despite common wisdom, cannot stop making games. With an average of 12 years of games industry experience on the team, this isn’t our first rodeo. In 2007 we founded ZipZapPlay, which we sold to PopCap games in 2011.
