May 20, 2026 – Toronto, Canada – Built over 5 years by a solo developer, Artificial Extinction 2 is a Tower Defense / RTS / FPS hybrid where players defend a futuristic military base against massive waves of adaptive AI machines while racing to decrypt alien technology before extraction arrives.

Players can seamlessly switch between top-down RTS command and first-person combat at any time, allowing them to lean into strategy, base building, or direct action depending on their preferred playstyle.
