6th June, Los Angeles, US – Indie developers Crescent Moon Games and Radical Forge, alongside publisher Digital Pajamas, have unveiled the release date for dual reality action adventure platformer Screenbound. Wishlist the game now on Steam to prepare for its launch on the 10th September on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
Dust off your mysterious Qboy, a strange handheld console you found in your mom’s garage, and get ready for an adventure unlike any other. Embark into an unknown world, simultaneously split between a retro style 2D world in your Qboy and a 3D world outside of it, where enemies spawn at different times in both realities and the story stretches across both planes!
Go back to the days of travelling beside your trusty handheld in Screenbound, where you’ll be challenged in multiple dimensions. Navigate the familiar retro pixel 2D world in your Qboy as you traverse your new 3D reality. Expect your actions to mirror across both realities, where timing and shifting your perspective across the two planes of existence is key to progressing and gaining new tools and skills to support your journey.
