Designed for both newcomers and hardcore players, this Hack’N’Slash has already gathered many fans of the genre since its release in March 2026 and now offers them new ways to play, progress, and defeat the draconic forces, solo or with others.
Play without limits thanks to cross-play and city transfer
The heart of Dragonkin: The Banished lies in its cooperative experience and group progression. This new update promises an even more accessible and community-focused adventure:
- Full Cross-play: The borders are coming down! Join your friends and progress hand-in-hand to free the world, regardless of your preferred gaming platform. Enjoy simplified loot sharing and shared progression.
- City Transfer: Players can now transfer their online city to offline mode at any time, and vice versa. Whether you’re on the go or connected with your allies, your progress never stops.
Take on the Dracomundus Purgatory challenge
Dracomundus Purgatory becomes accessible through a portal at the end of an endgame hunt and offers dragon hunters a test of strength and speed:
- A race against time: Fight your way through three islands (selected from a pool of over fifty islands) and defeat all enemies before time runs out.
- Destroy the Draconic Altars: Gain precious bonus seconds by destroying the altars scattered along your path to keep the timer going.
- Face the Champion of Purgatory: Survive until the last island to face the terrible Champion of Purgatory in an epic boss fight, and maybe leave with a Voracious weapon.
Forge your power with voracious weapons
A new challenge means exceptional new loot. The update introduces a brand-new category of equipment: Voracious Weapons.
- Unique passive traits: Wield devastating weapons with passive bonuses that will transform your playstyle.
- Sacrifice and reinforcement: Choose to sacrifice your weapons to transfer their power and increase the level of your voracious weapons.
- Custom forge: Shape the weapon of your dreams by precisely choosing the affixes to apply during reinforcement. Create a unique piece of equipment, perfectly adapted to your build and your Ancestral Grid.
