An ArenaNet developer’s spouse recorded and uploaded a video of an oddly-shaped raccoon in their Seattle backyard. Now, after capturing the world’s attention, it’s scurrying into Guild Wars 2.
“Jimothy” will be making his Guild Wars 2 debut officially on Tuesday, August 11. The viral raccoon sensation available as an official mini-pet for all classes.
According to ArenaNet’s official announcement on LinkedIn, “Listening to players and celebrating the moments that bring communities together is part of what makes developing games special. Bringing a little piece of Jimothy into Tyria felt like a fitting way to honor a story that connected so many people.”
