One-to-ten player arena shooter with fully destructible terrain, Dirtnap is out now in Steam Early Access

From Press Release:

Finland, 28 August 2026 – Dirtnap is out today on Steam in Early Access for $7.99, from 14:00 EEST (11:00 UTC). It is a 1-10 player combat game set on fully destructible terrain, with native Windows and Linux builds. Maps are procedurally generated, or made by the players themselves.

The terrain is fully destructible, so players dig through it and blow holes in it. Water, mud, lava and fire flow through the holes.

Matches run from 1 to 10 players, online over Steam or on a local LAN, in any mix of humans and bots, including single player, and there is split screen and Steam Workshop support. Players pick from seven Dirtling classes, each with its own melee weapon and abilities, and fight across four biomes with over thirty weapons. There are five modes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Battle Royale, Capture the Flag, and a four-round Tournament in which placements carry between matches and catch-up points keep the leader within reach.

The game also includes a single player roguelike campaign.

Dirtnap is built in Godot 4, with a custom destruction and fluid simulation.

The game is made in Finland by Part Time Monkey, Unstable Entity and Nitroyale.
