September 8, 2026 | Sublight, Codebrew Software’s space bullet heaven roguelike, launches into Early Access on Steam September 15th, and to give players a first proper look at what’s to come, the studio has revealed the full planned content roadmap.
Since the last demo update just six weeks ago, captains have racked up over 26 million kills across more than 10,800 runs.
Content Roadmap
2026 Q4: New enemy faction, new ships and weapons, more builds, and balance changes.
2027 Q1: More unique boss drop weapons, enemy flagship hunts, and new mission types.
2027 Q2: A Refreshed Campaign built around an XCOM-style threat map with longer, connected narrative missions, alongside expanded enemy factions and more research options.
2027 Q3: Community-voted content, players choosing new ships, weapons, and builds via Discord polls, plus mod support and achievements.
All content described is Early Access and subject to change.

What’s Included at Early Access Launch
Sublight launches into Early Access with 6 levels, multiple bosses, 2 enemy factions, 9 playable ships, over 16 weapon types, and an established set of build upgrades to customize every run. Weekly rotating level modifiers will also be introduced, ensuring each playthrough is unique.
