(September 16, 2026) – Today publisher Serenity Forge (Fractured Blooms, To The Moon, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!) and developer Arbitrary Metric launched their apocalyptic resort sim Roman Sands RE:Build on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and XBOX. This launch is accompanied by the release of Paratopic: Overdub, a PC re-release of their award-winning 2018 horror adventure. Both titles are available at a discount as part of Serenity Forge’s annual publisher sale, which features deep discounts for their game catalog across PC and consoles.
Roman Sands RE:Build is a surreal, pastel-toned adventure told through two stories set across a stranded luxury resort and a decaying zoological research station. At the resort, players serve a variety of guests with endless demands, racing against the clock to complete each request to rank up, and unlocking new equipment along the way at the basement’s gacha machines.
In the research station, players are trapped in a time loop with a parasite spreading through the facility, forcing a choice: protect what remains of the research, or protect themselves. Their only company is a voice on the radio, performed by content creator and streamer STPeach. Across both settings, Roman Sands RE:Build blends adventure, visual novel, puzzle-solving, and horror, as the line between the resort and the research station begins to blur.
Roman Sands RE:Build launches alongside Paratopic: Overdub, a PC re-release that revives Arbitrary Metric’s award-winning 2018 liminal horror classic as a 3-in-1 remaster, remix, and sequel, introducing improved textures and animations, new characters, and new secrets to discover.
Both launches coincide with Serenity Forge’s annual publisher sale, a two-week promotion offering discounts of up to 90% across their catalog on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and XBOX.
