ROTTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS — 20 September, 2026 — Total Mayhem Games has announced that We Were Here Tomorrow, the next entry in the acclaimed We Were Here cooperative puzzle-adventure series, will launch October 20th on Steam, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X|S for US $19,99 / £16,99 / €19,99.
The Official Release Date Reveal Trailer offers a deeper look at We Were Here Tomorrow, with Creative Director Martín Mittner sharing insights into the game’s new setting, gameplay, and the evolution of the We Were Here experience.
While We Were Here Tomorrow introduces a new retro-futuristic setting, it remains firmly rooted in the world and gameplay that fans have come to know. Explorers will encounter familiar elements and references throughout their journey, alongside new mechanics that challenge them to communicate and cooperate in ways they haven’t experienced before.
Almost a decade after the original We Were Here launched, the series has grown into a franchise of five games and more than 15 million players. With more than 350,000 wishlists, We Were Here Tomorrow is set to be the series’ biggest adventure yet.
We Were Here Tomorrow Key Features:
- A shared adventure: When fate takes an unexpected turn, two Explorers find themselves trapped inside a mysterious facility. With only each other to rely on, they must uncover its secrets and decide what Tomorrow will hold.
- Asymmetrical co-op puzzling: No two Explorers experience the facility the same way. Trust your partner, communicate through your walkie-talkies, and combine your unique perspectives to solve puzzles that challenge the rules of time, gravity, and space.
- Two players, two distinct roles: You and your partner each have a different role to play, with your own high-tech tool at your disposal. Work together and use your equipment in creative ways to overcome obstacles that neither of you could face alone.
- A mystery in an imagined 80s future: Explore Norček Industries and uncover the secrets behind its experiments and missing research team. Journey through a retro-futuristic world brought to life by striking environments and a nostalgic synthwave soundtrack.
