Disney Dreamlight Valley’s next free update, “Season of Scares,” is now available on all platforms, introducing Oogie Boogie from Disney’s Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas to Disney Dreamlight Valley. Oogie Boogie is coming to the Valley with six weeks of chaotic fun, mini-games and rewards. Get into the Halloween spirit with the brand-new “Haunting Elegance” Star Path, new seasonal Premium Shop additions, and fully join the festivities with two special, limited-time events to unlock exclusive rewards!

- Be ready for a Halloween adventure with Oogie Boogie! Each week, face thrilling new challenges with exciting new rewards. Progress through the weekly quests to unlock a new and loyal companion, the beloved Zero from Disney’s Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas who will accompany you throughout this frightful journey. Completing the final week of mayhem will reward players with a new and infamous Villager, Oogie Boogie himself, bringing his twisted lair to the Valley and ghoulish friendship rewards.
- Give a Halloween makeover to your valley with the “Haunting Elegance” Star Path. Complete the Star Path Duties to unlock bewitching outfits, darkly whimsical furniture pieces, Halloween-inspired decorations and more.
- Good and bad witch bundles are coming to the premium shop featuring magical outfits, enchanting furniture, and matching bee-witching companions. New Premium Shop additions include the Halloween-themed Stitch’s Vampire Costume Dream Style, the new Sinister Bridge Kit and a Companion Bundle featuring Lucifer from Disney’s Cinderella.
- October 7th marks the return of the “Haunted Floating Festival” event. Until October 31st, explore the decorated festival grounds to discover new and returning puzzles, and win exclusive seasonal decorations for solving them.
- The community-favorite “Trick or Treat” event is back, featuring an all-new way to gain candy along new exclusive rewards! From October 14th to October 31st, gather candy by collecting Trick-or-Treater’s Bounty, or now, by trick-or-treating at houses that feature a jack-o’-lantern outside.
- A new quality-of-life update introducing new features, starting with the all-new Event Board to keep track of all that’s going on in the Valley, the new Emote Wheel to perform emotes around your Villagers and your friends. This update also includes several building improvements, a new way to share your favorite decoration presets with other Valley Villagers, a Clear Biome feature, and the ability to move select gameplay buildings on Floating Islands.
