From Press Release:
TOKYO (Oct. 1, 2026) It’s all going down on November 12 when Fat Goblins, the cannibalistic action real-time strategy and team-based capture-the-flag indie spiritual successor to the 2012 game, Fat Princess. Coming to Steam from solo indie developer Koda Games, PC players will be able to go head-to-head in zany goblin PVP combat with up to 32 players battling it out in a hat-stealing, castle-sieging all-out war to see who can rescue their chubby princess first (https://store.steampowered.
com/app/2450350/Fat_Goblins/).
A delightful blend of competitive genres including real-time elements, Fat Goblins allows one team the ability to choose a variety of hero classes, and in necromancer mode, you’ll resurrect the dead goblins on the ground to create your own undead army. Each mode shifts the strategic approach of Fat Goblins creating a unique and dynamic path to victory.
Fat Goblins combines cartoonish action-packed capture-the-flag combat with comedic gameplay mechanics, including overly-serious hat-based class changing, as you take on the role of an army of goblins fighting across medieval landscapes to rescue their royalty from the opposing team’s fortress while also trying to steal the enemy princess back to their own castle.
Packing pudge as well as punch, Fat Goblins changes classic Fat Princess gameplay up by introducing on-the-fly combat role changing by picking up different hats on the battlefield, including warrior classes, mages and archers. Because gamers like hats.
Feed the enemy’s precious princess delicious meat to slow her army down, but don’t forget that base-building and resource management will be keys to victory as well. Chop trees to obtain wood, build up barracks, upgrade your fortress and place defenses like catapults at strategic locations to knock out your enemies.
Keep up to date with Fat Goblins as it heads toward its 1.0 launch on Steam on Nov. 12 at https://x.com/fatgoblinsgame and https://www.twitch.tv/kujukuju
