So what is Tribes of Midgard?
Tribes of Midgard is a co-op survival action-RPG that pits you against the end of the world, and is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam in 2021. Prove yourself as a lone Viking or form a tribe of up to 10 players as you strive to protect the Seed of Yggdrasil in your town. The odds are against you, but Valhalla can wait!
- Explore beautiful wilds, encounter mythical beats, and face mighty Jötunn (Giants) to gain the strength you need to protect the Seed of Yggdrasil.
- All maps are procedurally generated, so each experience is unique, and you’ll always find new and exciting things to uncover
- Enemies! You’ll battle trolls, dark elves, wolves and more as you explore the beautiful and dangerous wilds
- Events – Random encounters will keep you on your toes, such as needing to storm a camp to rescue a prisoner or battling mythological beats for unexpected rewards.
- Four classes – Choose from one of four classes, each with its own special perks, to set up your unique playstyle each time you play
- Equip weapons and armor that fit your playstyle – from hunting bows and hammers that deal devastating blows, to spell-slinging swords and more!
- GIANTS! Of all the challenges you face, none will compare to the Giants that seek to destroy the Seed of Yggdrasil you are protecting in your town.
