In this 16-bit era love letter, explore a world inspired by Venice’s carnival that will test your wits to overcome challenges, uncover secrets and fight distinctive and colorful bosses.
Sliding Hero is a brainteasing explorative puzzle game where you can only slide in a single direction until hitting an obstacle. The sliding Sokoban movement mechanics are ingeniously interwoven with trap avoidance and enemy encounters.
Utilize environmental hazards and strategic sliding to defeat foes, turning the puzzle elements into combat opportunities. On your path, you will encounter various enemies and traps that introduce new layers of challenge, in an easy-to-learn but hard-to-master movement system.
Explore a sprawling dream-like Venetian villa, meticulously designed with interconnected rooms and hidden passageways.
In classic Metroidvania fashion, gain new tools to backtrack and access previously unreachable areas. Unlock shortcuts, collect clues and deal with strange and eccentric characters in an adventure that will test your puzzle-solving skills.
Take the mantle of Luca Sicomoro, a fierce warrior and captain of the Venetian navy and immerse yourself in a dark and grotesque world inspired by the Carnival of Venice, where masks and elaborate costumes intertwine with an atmospheric original soundtrack inspired by Italian 1700.
When Luca wakes up on a mysterious island after a shipwreck, he finds himself exploring a mysterious villa and learning about the dangerous and eccentric cast of characters that populate it.
