(Espoo, Finland – April 24, 2025) – During a special livestream today, Remedy Entertainment announced that FBC: Firebreak, the upcoming three-player cooperative first-person shooter set in the mysterious world of Control, will launch worldwide on June 17, 2025.
FBC: Firebreak is Remedy Entertainment’s first self-published game and will be available on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 for $39.99 / €39.99 / £32.99. FBC: Firebreak will also be available day one via PC Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate, and PlayStation Plus Game Catalog (Extra and Premium).
The full reveal livestream – featuring live gameplay of a brand-new Job called Hot Fix, more Paper Chase and ‘Sticky Ricky’ as well as behind-the-scenes commentary from the developers – will be available on Remedy’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
Remedy also revealed the FBC: Firebreak Deluxe Edition, to be available for purchase at launch for $49.99 / €49.99 / £39.99. FBC: Firebreak Deluxe Edition includes a collection of exclusive cosmetics and premium voice packs for players looking to personalize their gear and squad identity.
The FBC: Firebreak Deluxe Edition includes:
- “The Firestarter” Premium Voice Pack
- “The Pencil Pusher” Premium Voice Pack
- Firestarter Armor Set, Apex Revision (Helmet, Body Armor, Gloves)
- Scorched Remnant Double-Barrel Shotgun Skin
- Golden Firebreak Spray
- Classified Requisition: “Firestarter”: A collection of 36 unlockable cosmetic items including weapon skins, sprays, and armor sets
Base game owners can upgrade to Deluxe Edition for $10.00 / €10.00 / £7.00.

FBC: Firebreak is a session-based, multiplayer PvE experience set within the acclaimed Control universe, delivering intense cooperative action. The game features highly replayable missions known as Jobs, each uniquely designed with different challenges, objectives, and environments that require teamwork and adaptability.
Remedy will continue expanding FBC: Firebreak with post-launch content. All future playable content, including new Jobs, will be free. Players will have the option to purchase cosmetics, but none of these items will affect gameplay, and there will be no limited-time rotations or daily log-ins.
