Will you take the Deck & Conn? MicroProse publishing “Cold War tactics meet retro sci-fi in deep space” from Funtime Electrics

From Press Release:

13th August 2025 – MicroProse is proud to announce it will publish Deck & Conn, a retro-inspired, single-player turn-based tactics game that places players in command of a Cold War-era nuclear corvette — in space.

Set “fifteen minutes into the future of 1989,” the game blends pixel-art charm with deep strategic gameplay, drawing inspiration from early MicroProse classics and the legendary 1971 Super Star Trek mainframe game.

In Deck and Conn, players must lead their crew through a relentless forever-war among the stars. Every patrol brings tough choices: respond to distress calls, capture or destroy enemy ships, upgrade your systems, and manage scarce resources — all while shaping the legacy of your vessel and crew.

Whether facing the branching challenges of a dynamic campaign or honing skills in standalone tactical scenarios, Deck and Conn demands precision, adaptability, and decisive leadership.
